Amboseli National Park offers one of the most iconic images in all of Africa: vast herds of elephants moving gracefully across the open plains with the snow-capped summit of Mount Kilimanjaro rising dramatically in the background. Lion, cheetah, hyena, zebra, wildebeest, and giraffe are regularly encountered.
